The Green Bay Packers were fearing the worst after left tackle Bryan Bulaga went down with a knee injury during Saturday's practice. Those fears became realized with the news on Monday that Bulaga tore his ACL and is out for the year.
Torn ACL for Packers’ LT Bryan Bulaga could have major impact on Aaron Rodgers’ fantasy season
Green Bay got some devastating news with the loss of their starting left tackle. How does it effect the offensive output this year for the Packers skill position players?

Bulaga, Green Bay's first round pick in 2010, has started 33 games at right tackle of the last three years but the team decided to switch him over the left side after a poor year by Marshall Newhouse. There was much hope that the fourth-year tackle would help protect Aaron Rodgers blindside, unlike last year when he was sacked 51 times, but they must now find a suitable replacement.
Newhouse and rookie David Bakhtiari are the early candidates to do so. Neither of which inspire much confidence at the moment.
Fantasy Impact: There is no good way to spin this from a fantasy perspective, but then again we must remember that Bulaga was not the left tackle last year and Rodgers had 4,295 yards and 39 touchdown passes. He’s still the league’s number one quarterback.
This news simply does not help matters, and now the team must not only find an answer at left tackle, but if Newhouse moves back over they will need to also find a replacement on the right side.
