Bengals receiver and punt returner Dane Sanzenbacher had two receptions for 59 yards on Thursday, including a 36-yard touchdown catch in the fourth quarter from John Skelton. He also added a 71-yard punt return for a touchdown in the third quarter, as the Bengals beat the Falcons 34-10.
Dane Sanzenbacher has huge game for Bengals, generates a ‘fantasy sleeper’ tag
Could Sanzenbacher get starts opposite of A.J. Green while also returning punts? If Thursday is any indication, then yes.

Sanzenbacher was waived by the Bears in 2012 and picked up by the Bengals the following day. He had 27 catches for 276 yards and three touchdowns as a rookie in 2011. The Bengals are looking for players to step up opposite of A.J. Green while Andrew Hawkins is sidelined with an ankle injury.
Fantasy Take: Sanzenbacher also impressed in the preseason with the Bears, which is why he made the team as a rookie after being undrafted out of Ohio State. However, despite some production as a rookie, the team added four receivers in the 2012 offseason and he found his way out of Chicago.
It’s still possible that with the Bengals, with Hawkins out, that Sanzenbacher could be useful in fantasy. Especially if your team counts punt return yards.
