Baltimore Ravens wide receiver LaQuan Williams had two catches for 32 yards on Thursday night in a 44-16 preseason win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He also hauled in a 21-yard touchdown from quarterback Tyrod Taylor in the third quarter.
LaQuan Williams makes case to get spot on Ravens roster, become fantasy sleeper
Baltimore is looking for someone to step up after the departure of Anquan Boldin and the injury to Dennis Pitta. Is Williams going to be that guy?

Williams, 25, has four career catches in two seasons, all of which came in 2011. He was undrafted out of Maryland and is currently competing against players like Deonte Thompson and Aaron Mellette for playing time, perhaps even a spot on the roster.
Fantasy Take: Williams would definitely qualify as a “super deep sleeper” option in fantasy football, but it wouldn’t be unprecedented to see someone come out of nowhere in his third season.
He has a little bit of experience returning kickoffs, but could also make his case for a spot on the 53-man roster because of excellent play on kick coverage. With Dennis Pitta on injured reserve and Anquan Boldin in San Francisco, somebody needs to make plays for the Ravens.
At this point, it’s still too early to say who that will be.
