Titans running back Shonn Greene had five carries for 32 yards and a touchdown, adding in one catch for 13 yards as Tennessee lost 22-21 to the Redskins on Thursday. Greene performed much better than Chris Johnson's other backup options.
Intriguing fantasy sleeper Shonn Greene with solid all-around performance in Titans debut
Tennessee added the veteran back from the Jets as insurance to Chris Johnson. Could he see more playing time than most backups?

Darius Reynaud had seven carries for three yards, and Jalen Parmele had seven carries for 19 yards. Johnson had 60 yards on two carries, including a 58-yard touchdown run. The Titans added Greene in free agency after he ran for 1,063 yards for the Jets last year.
New York opted not to bring him back, and he will be the main backup to Johnson.
Fantasy Take: He’s a must-handcuff to anyone that drafts Johnson. The other options in Tennessee are just plain bad and Greene is above-average. He is not an exciting back by any means, quite the opposite of Johnson, but perhaps that is what will make the relationship work so well.
If Johnson struggles again or gets hurt, Greene should perform admirably.
