Quarterback Alex Smith’s 57 rushing yards make for a solid fantasy outing
Alex Smith had 223 passing yards, two touchdowns, and 57 rushing yards. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: Smith has been able to put up solid fantasy numbers for two weeks now, but rarely makes big plays as a passer. Dwayne Bowe and running back Jamaal Charles led the Chiefs with 18 of Smith's 34 targets combined. Smith appears to be falling into his familiar role of "game manager" for the Chiefs. His yardage totals have been on the lower end, but he's been able to avoid throwing the ball into the hands of defenders this season. He's a solid QB2 that will likely not cost you a fantasy game, but it's hard to rely on Smith's scrambling abilities on a weekly basis. Smith will be facing a porous Eagles secondary in Week 3.
