Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell told James Wexwell of Steel City Insider that he is hoping to return for the team's Week 2 game but isn't making any promises.
Le’Veon Bell aims for Week 2 return; fantasy value in flux
Is Bell being too ambitious targeting a Week 2 return?

Bell suffered a foot sprain during the preseason, which derailed his rookie season a bit. He was in line to be the team’s starting running back before the injury and would presumably regain that role once he returns.

Week 2 seems to be an ambitious target date for Bell given how other running backs have handled foot injuries.
Fantasy spin: Bell was on track to be one of fantasy football’s top sleepers before his injury. If he manages to return sooner than expected he could work his way back to being a No. 2 fantasy football running back sooner rather than later.
For now, Isaac Redman and Felix Jones will duke it out for the starting job but figure to split carries until Bell returns.
