Detroit Lions running back wanted to play in Sunday's 27-20 win over the Washington Redskins, and he relayed that to coaches, but they still held him out, according to the Detroit Free Press.
Reggie Bush wanted to play through injury in Week 3, says he won’t miss Week 4
No matter how much he pleaded, Bush could not convince the coaches to let him suit up against the Redskins on Sunday.

Bush, who has been dealing with a laundry list of injuries already in 2013, most recently a knee injury, insists he was ready to play in Week 3 and won't miss the Lions' Week 4 game against the undefeated Chicago Bears.
Fantasy spin: When healthy this season, Bush has been a top 10, if not top 5, running back in fantasy football. He’s an ideal fit for the Lions’ offense and adds a ton of value as a pass catcher.
Injuries will continue to plague him, though. He’s proven to be somewhat prone to injury throughout his career and this season has been no exception. But when he’s in the lineup, he should be piling up points for fantasy owners.
