Julius Thomas is bursting onto fantasy scene with huge first half

Thomas caught his first touchdown pass up the seam, and he later broke away for a 44-yard score in the second quarter to tie things up at 14-14.
Fantasy impact: Thomas is owned in 40 percent of Yahoo! leagues right now, so expect him to be one of the top targets on the waiver wire after Week 1 is complete. He was recently named the starter in Denver, and it's paying off for Peyton Manning tonight.
Roddy White even wishes he started Thomas this week. Owners who already own the third-year tight end likely stashed him on their bench. It's tough to tell how the targets will be allocated in the Broncos offense, but Thomas is making a case for more looks from Manning on a regular basis. He could easily enter TE1 territory.
