The Broncos stuck with a committee at running back to start the 2013 season. Knowshon Moreno was the starter against the Ravens. He rushed for 28 yards one nine carries and caught three passes for 37 yards while sharing the workload with Ronnie Hillman and Montee Ball.
Knowshon Moreno starts, Broncos running backs stay quiet in fantasy
Denver used three running backs throughout its first game of the season. We break down the fantasy implications.

Hillman played in some goal line situations and rushed for 15 yards on four carries. He also caught two passes for 27 yards. Montee Ball took a while to get in the game, but he ended up rushing for 24 yards on eight carries.
Fantasy impact: The RBBC isn’t helping any owners out. All three backs averaged under 4.0 yards per carry, and they all saw work in the red zone. There’s no favorite to emerge from the group after the first game.
Ball was an early pick to become the featured back, but that doesn’t appear to be a route the Broncos will take anytime soon. It would be wise to bench the Denver running backs until one starts to out.
