As the Broncos cruised to a 49-27 victory over the Ravens on Thursday night, Demaryius Thomas picked up right where he left off from 2012. The fourth-year wideout caught five passes for 161 yards and two touchdowns in his first game of the season, both scores coming in the fourth quarter.
Demaryius Thomas goes off for fantasy owners in Week 1
Demaryius Thomas had a monster performance in his first game of the season. We break down the fantasy implications.

Thomas broke free on a bubble screen for a 78-yard touchdown with just under five minutes to play in regulation. He was targeted 11 times, tying Wes Welker for most on the team.
Fantasy impact: It took a while for Thomas to get in on the scoring frenzy, but he saved the best for last for his owners. He only exceeded 161 yards once last season, and he caught multiple touchdown passes in one game in 2012.
Welker’s arrival was considered as a detriment to the number of targets to go around in the Broncos passing game, but Thomas is clearly locked in for plenty of looks every game. Eric Decker is the one who’s on the outside looking in right now.
