In his second game back in the starting lineup, Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Josh McCown had another strong game Sunday. McCown had his second consecutive 19-point fantasy game as the Buccaneers beat Washington, 27-7, for their second win of the season.
Fantasy football waiver wire, Week 12: Josh McCown continues strong production
Back in the lineup the last two weeks, the Tampa Bay quarterback has put up good numbers. We break down the fantasy implications.

McCown completed 15-of-23 passes Sunday for 288 yards and two touchdowns, adding eight rushing yards. He didn’t turn the ball over at all in the game, his first game all season without an interception. McCown has had at least 13 fantasy points every time he has played an entire game this season.
Fantasy impact: If you take out the Week 3 game against Atlanta when McCown left early with an injury, he’s averaged 17 fantasy points a game this season -- not world-beating numbers, but enough to make McCown relevant for fantasy owners if he can keep that up. With Mike Evans establishing himself as a top-flight wide receiver, McCown has a reasonable complement of receivers, and considering the struggles of the team’s running game, McCown is going to have to keep passing the ball.
McCown needs to be a starter in all two-quarterback leagues, and he wouldn’t be a bad backup in smaller leagues if things are getting squeezed. It’s a nice rise for a quarterback who wasn’t ownable three weeks ago.
