Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Mike Brown is expected to start in place of Cecil Shorts, who continues to battle a nagging hamstring injury. The Jaguars are facing the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. It's likely that veteran Chad Henne will be the quarterback for the Jaguars in Week 1.
Mike Brown to start in place of injured Cecil Shorts, remains off fantasy radar
Wide receiver MIke Brown will start in place of Cecil Shorts. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: Shorts owners had to expect a rocky start to his season. His hamstring has been a topic of concern for a good portion of the preseason. It's hard to imagine a situation where Mike Brown should be owned in any fantasy leagues. This is Week 1. It's not time to get creative just yet. While Brown has more experience than both Allen Hurns and Marqise Lee, Shorts owners would be better off investing in the upside of the two rookie receivers.
Regardless, any Jaguars receiver that can be started in Week 1 should be considered a WR5 at best until we see how Jacksonville’s offense sorts itself out on the field.
