A.J. Green had a quiet first half. He saw several touches, including a five-yard run from an end-around, but he didn't emerge as the Pro Bowl playmaker we're familiar with until the fourth quarter. Quarterback Andy Dalton targeted Green deep for a 77-yard touchdown which gave the Cincinnati Bengals a 23-17 victory over the Baltimore Ravens. Green ended up with six receptions for 131 yards and a touchdown.
A.J. Green gets off to a hot start for fantasy owners
A.J. Green begins the season with strong numbers. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: Fantasy owners had to be a little nervous when Green was sitting on five receptions for 54 yards well into the second half of Sunday’s game. Of course, Green ended up proving that he was worth his early-round ADP in most fantasy drafts. If Green owners needed any more assurance, they should take comfort in the fact that Dalton looked solid in his season opener. Dalton ended up with 301 yards and a touchdown. Green will move forward as a top WR1, as expected.
