Andy Dalton led the Cincinnati Bengals to a victory over the Baltimore Ravens, throwing for 301 yards and a touchdown. He also carried the ball six times for just three yards. Dalton was efficient for most of the game, but the offense stalled multiple times when they entered Ravens territory on the field. As a result, 15 of Cincinnati's points came from field goals by Mike Nugent. Dalton's biggest play was a 77-yard touchdown pass to A.J. Green in the fourth quarter.
Andy Dalton shows promise for fantasy owners in Week 1
Andy Dalton put up respectable fantasy numbers despite only throwing one touchdown pass on Sunday.

Fantasy impact: Outside of deeper leagues, Dalton was mostly drafted as a QB2. Fantasy owners should feel good about Dalton's performance. He's starting out the season with QB1-caliber numbers and avoided turning the ball over in the process. He's an intriguing QB1 start in Week 2 when the Bengals face the Atlanta Falcons. Consider his low touchdown total an exception. He'll likely find the end zone more at home against Atlanta's porous defense.
