Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Mike Wallace is expected to test out his injured knee in practice on Thursday, according to beat writer Matt Vensel. Wallace put up the best numbers of his Vikings career last week, catching eight passes for 83 yards and a touchdown.
Mike Wallace set to practice on Thursday, not expected to hamper fantasy owners
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Mike Wallace will practice on Thursday and should be ready to play on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: Aside from Wallace, the Vikings don’t really have a deep threat down the field in the passing game. Teammate Charles Johnson was expected to be the breakout star of 2015 on the Vikings’ roster, but that simply hasn’t materialized.
Even in his heyday, Wallace has largely been considered a boom or bust type player. That’s typical of a deep threat on any team. Going up against Kansas City in Week 6 likely means a date with cornerback Eric Berry. Wallace may be able to offset the tough matchup with the fact that he will be targeted regularly by quarterback Teddy Bridgewater.
Fantasy owners shouldn’t worry about Wallace missing any time. It’s likely that he just took it easy and sat out practice on Wednesday to get some added rest. He should be ready to start against the Chiefs.
