Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant is unlikely to play Sunday, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Dez Bryant ‘unlikely for Sunday,’ per report, fantasy value remains dormant
The Cowboys may have to wait another week for their star receiver to return to the field. We break down the fantasy implications.

Bryant is working off to the side for Wednesday’s practice, which is similar work to what he did during the Cowboys’ bye. There had been optimism among the organization that Bryant could return in the week directly following their Week 6 bye, but Rapoport’s report isn’t supporting that. Bryant will have to return to practice and get in reps against defenders and demonstrate his ability to cut and plant on his surgically repaired foot before convincing his onlookers he is well enough for Sundays.
Fantasy impact: It’s still early in the week, so fantasy owners can’t conclude that Bryant will be out of action on Sunday. However, there’s not enough evidence to the contrary for there to be a positive outlook.
Terrance Williams, Jason Witten and Darren McFadden should once again dominate the targets from new quarterback Matt Cassel while Bryant is out. For now, fantasy owners will have to monitor Bryant's progress as closely as possible, but information to draw conclusions on his status from may not be widely available.
