T.J. Yeldon returns to practice on Thursday, likely to make his return to fantasy lineups Sunday
Jacksonville Jaguars running back T.J. Yeldon is back practicing after sitting on the sidelines for a while. We break down the fantasy implications.
Fantasy impact: It’s good to see Yeldon working his way back and it’s expected that he will be able to play in the team’s game against the Buffalo Bills this week.
His injury came at a difficult time for fantasy owners given that Yeldon had his first career 100-yard rushing game in Week 4 and was effective in the passing game before leaving in Week 5. What’s exciting about his return nearing is that the Jags have developed a passing game with Yeldon on the bench, so things could open up for him on the ground as a result.
Fantasy owners should definitely be curious to see what he can do on Sunday and that means giving him a chance to get back in the lineup. Yeldon’s name may not carry the same weight as the St. Louis Rams’ Todd Gurley, but it’s looking like he might be just as effective in putting fantasy points on the board.
