Fantasy impact: What was supposed to be a 3-4 week injury for Jackson has now extended to the point that he’s likely going to miss Week 7. The fact that he has suffered a setback and nobody really knows when he’s going to return is a significant blow to fantasy owners who have held onto Jackson for so long.
The good news is that tight end Jordan Reed has officially exited the NFL’s concussion protocol, which means Washington will have at least one of its top pass catchers back in the lineup this Sunday. Jamison Crowder and Pierre Garcon will also be in the lineup when the team takes on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Fantasy owners may want to consider dealing Jackson depending on their place in the standings. Those who have been committed to hanging on to him will just have to sit tight.
