Update: Arian Foster carted to locker room during Sunday’s game
Arian Foster injury update: RB officially active for Texans, fantasy owners
The Texans’ bell-cow is once again in line for a big workload on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.
Houston Texans running back Arian Foster is officially active for Week 7. Foster participated in each practice preceding Sunday’s match up with the Miami Dolphins, although did so at a limited capacity. His limited practices were not indicative of a setback, but rather the Texans’ coaching staff managing the reps of a veteran running back who missed time at the beginning of the season due to a groin injury.
Fantasy impact: Foster owners can expect another heavy workload from Houston’s featured runner. Only the Cleveland Browns have given up more yards per game on the ground than the Dolphins, indicating that the Texans could go with a ground-heavy approach if the game script allows it.
There’s no question that Foster will be in line for the bulk of the carries. As a result, Foster is a no-brainer RB1 once again for Week 7, and his injury is of no concern for Sunday. Fantasy owners can start him with confidence.
