Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams is expected to play Week 8, according to ESPN's Rob Demovsky.
Davante Adams expected to return Week 8 for Packers, fantasy owners
The Packers will need all hands on deck to counter an imposing Denver Broncos secondary. We break down the fantasy implications.

Demovsky’s report stems from the words of coach Mike McCarthy, who will have his second-year wideout back into the lineup for the first time since Week 3. Expected to be a big part of the offense at the beginning of the season, Adams has just nine catches for 92 yards and zero touchdowns as an ankle injury has kept him to the sidelines for most of 2015.
Fantasy impact: With James Jones doing well in an expanded role, it's not a given that Adams overtakes him in terms of targets or snaps. Against an elite Denver Broncos secondary in Week 8, there may be even fewer opportunities for Adams, even with Aaron Rodgers' elite arm throwing the ball his way.
Any top-three receiver amid an offense with the potential the Packers can boast is worth a roster spot, but a lineup spot for Week 8 might be pushing it. Adams has the talent to capitalize, but that may not come to fruition in the short-term. As a result, fantasy owners should continue looking elsewhere for WR3 or flex options.
