Green Bay Packers running back Eddie Lacy isn't being affected by an early-season ankle injury anymore, according to Ryan Wood of The Green Bay Press-Gazette
Eddie Lacy’s ankle injury is behind him, per report, can return to fantasy lineups
The Packers’ featured running back could be featured even more now that a nagging ankle injury is behind him. We break down the fantasy implications.

Wood’s report stems from the words of head coach Mike McCarthy, who implied that the bye week has done Lacy some good, further suggesting that Lacy’s early-season slump is the direct result of his health over anything else.
McCarthy said, via the Green Bay Press-Gazette:
“He looks good just watching him work out Monday in the individual stuff. I don’t think the injury is affecting him anymore.”
Fantasy Spin: It's the best news Lacy's owners have heard in a long time, although it's far from a guarantee that he will be in line to produce against an elite Denver Broncos' defense. With James Starks also dealing with an undisclosed injury, Lacy could be given the keys to the backfield for the first time since Week 1, where he accounted for 99 total yards and a touchdown.
The trajectory is pointing upward for Lacy, but fantasy owners will likely have to wait one more week before seeing the explosive production that they’ve been accustomed to since Lacy debuted in the NFL. Lacy is a RB2/Flex for Week 8.
