New York Jets running back Chris Ivory is not practicing Wednesday, according to Kimberly Martin of Newsday.
Chris Ivory misses Wednesday practice, fantasy status for Week 8 in the air
The Jets’ leading rusher is battling a hamstring injury. We break down the fantasy implications.

Ivory injured his hamstring during the team's first series against the New England Patriots on Sunday and was subsequently in and out of the huddle.
The injury, compounded with a solid defensive effort by the Patriots, held Ivory to just 41 yards on 17 carries. If Ivory sits, an expected committee of Zac Stacy, Bilal Powell and Stevan Ridley would man the backfield duties.
Fantasy impact: Hamstring injuries have been known to linger among players, with severe cases in 2015 including Alshon Jeffery and DeSean Jackson, while minor ones include Odell Beckham, Jr.
The extent of Ivory’s isn’t yet available, but fantasy owners would be wise to keep checking practice reports and taking note of Ivory’s participation or lack thereof.
If Ivory is expected to play at his usual capacity, he is firmly in the RB1 conversation against a middling Oakland Raiders defense. In the event he sits, Stacy would make for a desperation flex play in standard scoring formats.
