Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant will practice Thursday, according to David Helman of DallasCowboys.com.
Dez Bryant hopeful to increase workload Thursday, remains on track to return to fantasy lineups
The Cowboys’ star receiver inches closer to returning to the playing field. We break down the fantasy implications.
Bryant returned to practice on Wednesday and will attempt to ramp up his workload Thursday, according to Helman. The trajectory for Bryant continues to point upward after running and cutting at full speed prior to Week 7's game, and making leaping catches during warmups. Barring any setbacks, Bryant remains on track to suit up against the Seattle Seahawks for Week 8.
Fantasy impact: Great receivers like Bryant have produced with lesser quarterbacks than Matt Cassel, but concerns for his fantasy outlook for Week 8 are valid ones. The Seattle Seahawks have allowed the fewest fantasy points to opposing wide receivers in 2015, and Bryant will likely draw the attention of Richard Sherman.
Though several factors go against Bryant in this matchup, his talent level is great enough to overcome terrible circumstances. As a result, fantasy owners need to find a way to get him in the lineup, assuming he plays at his usual capacity. If reports from practice continue to be positive ones, Bryant is a WR2 with WR1 upside for Week 8.
