If that much hadn't been apparent already, with C.J. Anderson and Ronnie Hillman each getting 11 carries in Sunday's win over the Minnesota Vikings, head coach Gary Kubiak confirmed the timeshare approach after the game.
“We’re going to use both,” is all Kubiak would say, via Legwold’s report, when reporters pointed out that Hillman and Anderson had split carries evenly.
Fantasy impact: Fantasy owners who spent an early-round pick on Anderson are going to have to come to terms with him not being the RB1 they thought they would get, if they had not already. Much of Anderson's early season struggles could be attributed to poor offensive line play, game flow and a toe injury, but it's apparent that Kubiak has different plans for Anderson's usage than John Fox did in 2014.
Anderson and Hillman each have flex value in formats across the board, but neither will be consistent difference makers unless the other were to miss time with an injury.
