Houston Texans running back Arian Foster made his long-awaited return from a groin injury suffered this summer, but didn't receive the workload in Week 4 that many are used to him getting.
Arian Foster’s role to ‘dramatically increase’ Thursday, per report, remains a high-upside fantasy option
Arian Foster’s unceremonious return on Sunday from his injury isn’t enough reason for his onlookers to panic. We break down the fantasy implications.

His team falling behind 42-0 may have something to do with that, but the Houston Chronicle's Aaron Wilson expects Foster's role will "dramatically increase" in Week 5's bout with the Indianapolis Colts. It's understandable for the Texans to want to keep the ball in Foster's hands and chew up clock in order to keep Andrew Luck on the sideline, but it's also an indication that Foster is over his injury enough to be effective with a heavy volume.
Fantasy impact: This is welcome news for fantasy leagues across the board, as the running back position seems to succumb to committee approaches even more than ever. Foster has a middling matchup against a Colts’ defense that has been tested on the ground often this season, and Thursday night won’t be any different.
The game script could not have been any worse for Foster in Week 4, and logging 35 total yards on 11 touches while adding a lost fumble will reflect that. Foster can conservatively be started as a RB2 on Thursday despite that, as the veteran should see plenty of better days ahead.
