Buffalo Bills running back Karlos Williams is not practicing with the team on Wednesday, per WKBW's Joe Buscaligia. This is to be expected, as the rookie running back remains in the NFL's concussion protocol.
Karlos Williams not practicing Wednesday, fantasy owners continue to wait
The Buffalo Bills are suddenly very thin at running back entering Week 5. We break down the fantasy implications.

It is unclear if Williams will play on Sunday when the Bills face the Tennessee Titans, but Williams' week isn't off to a promising start. Head coach Rex Ryan added that Williams will "hopefully" man the team's backfield, but that's far from a declaration of his ability to take the field.
Fantasy impact: If Williams sits, Boobie Dixon will instead get the call with Cierre Wood likely to be mixed in. Dixon does not have a successful track record of taking carries in the NFL, averaging just 3.4 yards per attempt while earning his paychecks mostly from being a special teams contributor.
If Williams is able to start, he can re-enter the RB1 conversation against a leaky Titans defense, but fantasy owners need to have contingency plans lined up. Dixon and Wood are not viable starters in leagues of 12 or less.
