Washington tight end Jordan Reed has been a difference maker when he's on the field, but unfortunately, those instances have been few and far between. After suffering multiple injuries on Sunday, it appears as though Reed will be relegated to the sidelines once again.
Jordan Reed sits Wednesday, remains highly questionable for Washington, fantasy owners
Jordan Reed is on the sidelines once again with multiple injuries. We break down the fantasy implications.

Reed is not practicing on Wednesday, according to the Washington Post’s Mike Jones. Reed is currently in the NFL’s concussion protocol and is also dealing with a sprained knee and ankle.
It would have been extremely unexpected for Reed to take the practice field this early in the week, and it remains unlikely he even will at all given his multiple ailments. Derek Carrier would get the start at tight end if Reed is unable to go on Sunday.
Fantasy impact: Reed’s production on the field was fun while it lasted, but now fantasy owners will find themselves in the all-too-familiar position of waiting for Reed to get healthy. He remains worth a stash in leagues of all formats, but it’s worth mentioning that Reed has suffered five concussions since beginning his college career.
Reed is a TE1 upon his return, but fantasy owners will have to look to a barren waiver wire if they did not already have a backup in place waiting in the wings.
Carrier is worth a start only for the most desperate of owners. Instead, Jamison Crowder and Pierre Garcon can expect more targets if Reed sits out.
