Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Allen Hurns returned to practice on Thursday, according to Ryan O'Halloran of the Florida Times-Union.
Allen Hurns returns to practice, has a juicy fantasy matchup on Sunday
The Jaguars have gotten welcome production this season from Allen Hurns, and that could continue into Week 5. We break down the fantasy implications.
Hurns sat out on Wednesday due to ankle and thigh injuries, but there’s no reason to expect him to miss Sunday’s game. The Jaguars have enjoyed back-to-back weeks where Hurns has found the end zone, with Week 4’s loss being his best outing yet. Hurns turned 15 targets into 11 catches for 116 yards and a touchdown.
Fantasy spin: Hurns has a fabulous matchup on Sunday vs. a Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense that has leaked fantasy points to opposing defenses through the season's first quarter. As a result, Hurns remains a strong bet to continue his streak of finding the end zone for a third straight game.
Hurns remains in the WR3 conversation for Sunday, as Allen Robinson also has a fine chance to capitalize on his targets as well. Through four games, Hurns has 22 catches for 314 yards and a pair of touchdowns. That's welcome production for any fantasy owner who got Hurns at a bargain.
