Cincinnati Bengals running back Jeremy Hill was limited in practice on Thursday thanks to a knee injury, according to beat writer Paul Dehner Jr. Hill only carried the ball nine times last week, but scored three touchdowns and successfully completed a two-point conversion.
Jeremy Hill limited in practice, not in danger of a fantasy absence
Cincinnati Bengals running back Jeremy Hill was limited in practice on Thursday. We break down the fantasy implications.
Fantasy impact: Hill came into the season as the team’s workhorse running back. Although he started the season with a bang, scoring twice in the opening game, teammate Giovani Bernard has actually outplayed him.
Bernard has been effective both in the rush attack and the passing game and seems to have earned the right to be neck-and-neck with Hill. The problem for fantasy owners who own either rusher is that nobody is going to be the clear-cut No. 1 guy at the moment.
Hill and Bernard will both be starters in deep leagues right now, but it looks like Bernard may be the one building on his value. Either way, fantasy owners can go ahead and start Hill this Sunday. He’ll be fine.
