Pierre Garcon practices Thursday, should be in line for fantasy start
Washington wide receiver Pierre Garcon popped up on the team’s injury report on Thursday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: With DeSean Jackson still out thanks to a hamstring injury suffered in Week 1 and tight end Jordan Reed dealing with the aftermath of a concussion, the pathway to No. 1 status is all Garcon’s to claim.
Although he hasn’t exactly capitalized on his increase in targets from a yardage perspective, Garcon does have 20 combined looks in the last two games and has caught 12 passes for 119 yards and a touchdown. He’ll need to be on his game as Washington travels to Atlanta to take on a Falcons offense that could put up points.
That fact alone makes Garcon worth a start, as he’ll be the main beneficiary when Washington is playing catchup in the second half. Fantasy owners can go ahead and start Garcon as usual.
