Cincinnati Bengals running back Jeremy Hill is listed as probable for the team's matchup against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday.
Jeremy Hill listed as probable, faces tough fantasy matchup on Sunday
Jeremy Hill popped up on the team’s injury report this week, but is listed as probable for Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.
Hill has been limited in practice all week due to a knee injury, but is not in any danger of missing his team’s Week 5 showdown. He will assume his usual early-down work in the backfield-by-committee with Giovani Bernard taking over in passing situations. Though Hill was limited all week, it was likely more a matter of managing his reps than anything else.
Fantasy impact: It’s fine that Hill remains on the playing field, but fantasy owners can’t feel too confident in him despite his three-touchdown performance in Week 4. Hill has been out-carried by Bernard in every game this season except for Week 1, and now has to face a formidable Seahawks front seven.
It’s likely that Hill’s owners will only be made happy if he finds the end zone this week, because it’s difficult to imagine a scenario where he repeatedly gashes one of the league’s best defenses. Hill is on the RB2 radar for Week 5, but he has a lower floor on Sunday than he would in most weeks.
