Chicago Bears wide receiver Alshon Jeffery did not practice on Friday, according to ESPN's Jeff Dickerson.
Alshon Jeffery misses Friday practice, fantasy status once again in doubt
Alshon Jeffery missed practice for the Bears on Friday after getting in limited sessions earlier in the week. We break down the fantasy implications.

Jeffery’s absence from practice raises a red flag, since he was able to practice on a limited basis on Wednesday and Thursday. Though Jeffery’s non-appearance doesn’t guarantee he suffered a setback, it still can’t be seen as positive news for a player that hasn’t seen game action since Week 1. The Bears will list him as questionable on the injury report.
Fantasy impact: The saga of Jeffery’s hamstring continues, as the Bears’ No. 1 receiver continues to battle an injury that has hampered him since the preseason. Jeffery has yet to officially be ruled out of action on Sunday, but mid-week absences from practice never bode well for a player’s availability.
If Jeffery cannot start Sunday vs. the Kansas City Chiefs, Eddie Royal and Marquess Wilson will soak up the snaps once again. The only silver lining for Jeffery's owners is that they already have a contingency option in place of him, and will likely need to turn that way for the fourth straight week.
