New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham, Jr. is listed as probable on the team's injury report.
Odell Beckham, Jr. injury update: Giants WR listed as probable for fantasy owners
The Giants No. 1 receiver is on the mend and will play Sunday against the Saints. We break down the fantasy implications.
Beckham practiced fully in preparation for Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints, a stark contrast from being severely limited in wake of a Week 5 hamstring injury. Despite being previously limited in practices, Beckham wasn't at all limited in games, missing just six snaps total in Week 6 and Week 7. The fact that he returned to practice at full capacity suggests that the worst of his injury is behind him.
Fantasy impact: Beckham's owners expressed concern after a quiet outing against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 7, but his poor stat sheet can be attributed more to a game script that had the Giants possessing the ball for half the time of their opponents and Eli Manning completing just 13 passes.
Beckham will be all systems go for Week 8, even upon drawing the attention of breakout cornerback Delvin Breaux. Fantasy owners can pen Beckham into their lineups as a WR1 yet again and expect a regression to Beckham's sky-high mean.
