Rothstein's report stems from Johnson's own declaration, as the team's No. 1 receiver ought to be fine coming off of a bye week. Johnson injured his ankle in Week 8's loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in London, but not to the extent that he did in 2014, where he missed games because of it. Even amid a lost season at 1-7, Johnson is trending toward suiting up once again.
Fantasy impact: Within a team that has recently cleared house, Lions players are conceivably playing for their jobs in Detroit, and that goes for players of all calibers, even ones as high as Johnson. As a result, it remains likely that nagging injuries won’t keep Johnson off of the field as long as he isn’t presented with a significant risk to cause further damage.
