Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant will be a limited participant in Thursday's practice, according to Jon Machota of The Dallas Morning News.
Dez Bryant returning to Thursday’s practice, remains high-upside WR1 in fantasy leagues
The Cowboys’ star receiver has been banged up all year, but will likely take the field on Sunday once again. We break down the fantasy implications.
Bryant injured his knee in Sunday night's loss to the Philadelphia Eagles after leaping over defenders to secure a jump-ball touchdown pass. Despite the injury, Bryant remained in the game for its duration but missed Wednesday's practice to manage his health. Machota added that the injury is indeed knee-related, and doesn't pertain to his surgically repaired foot which kept him inactive for five games.
Fantasy impact: Though Bryant’s most recent injury is one that warrants monitoring, it doesn’t appear that the star receiver is in any danger of missing time if he is able to return to practice even at a limited capacity on Thursday. Sitting out Friday would be a true red flag, but Bryant’s availability for Sunday can be considered more likely than not.
Against a porous Tampa Bay Buccaneers secondary, Bryant will assume his usual WR1 designation in fantasy leagues across the board, even with Matt Cassel throwing in his direction.
