Tennessee Titans rookie running back David Cobb will be "mixed in" to the backfield rotation on Thursday night, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
David Cobb will play Thursday night, per report, would be a risky fantasy option
The Titans will get to see what their rookie running back looks like in regular season action on Thursday night. We break down the fantasy implications.

Cobb was activated off injured reserve in Week 10, but was not on the game day roster against the Carolina Panthers. That apparently won't be the case for Thursday night's bout with the Jacksonville Jaguars, as Cobb appears poised to make his NFL debut. Rapoport added that Antonio Andrews will still get the start, but Cobb will be introduced to the committee approach nonetheless.
Fantasy impact: It’s too early to thrust Cobb into starting lineups in fantasy leagues of any format, but the possibility remains for the promising rookie to overtake Andrews for lead duties down the stretch. It’s the reason fantasy owners have kept Cobb stashed up to this point on rosters, but their long-term plan won’t likely come into fruition in Week 11.
A good game from Cobb in Week 11 could quickly put him into RB2 territory if he overtakes Andrews as a result of it, but for now, there isn’t any reason to bank on anything big from the rookie in his NFL debut. Cobb is best left on benches on Thursday night as a result.
