Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Michael Floyd sat out Thursday's practice session, according to Darren Urban of azcardinals.com.
Michael Floyd sits out Thursday’s practice, fantasy status unclear for Sunday
The Cardinals’ Michael Floyd had his biggest game of the season in Week 10, but may have to miss Week 11. We break down the fantasy implications.
Floyd also missed Wednesday's practice due to a hamstring injury that sidelined him during Sunday night's exciting win over the Seattle Seahawks. Before exiting, however, Floyd gashed a vaunted Seahawks defense repeatedly, tallying a season-high 113 yards on seven catches while also finding the end zone twice.
Fantasy impact: With John Brown also missing practice time due to hamstring injuries, the Cardinals could find themselves shorthanded in the receiving game after leaving it all on the field on Sunday night against a divisional rival. Floyd will need to get in at least a limited session on Friday to restore any hope of suiting up for Week 11, and if he were to play, it’s fair to wonder at what capacity he would do so at.
If Floyd sits, a boost in value could be given to Larry Fitzgerald, who could be a target monster against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. Jaron Brown would take Floyd's place in the lineup, but doesn't deserve fantasy consideration.
