Emmanuel Sanders limited in practice on Thursday, fantasy value slightly lower
Denver Broncos wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders was limited in practice on Thursday with a finger injury. We break down the fantasy implications.
Fantasy impact: After being a PPR machine last year for the Broncos, Sanders has had a rough go in 2015. His up-and-down year is largely the result of an aging quarterback. Peyton Manning certainly isn’t looking like himself.
At the present moment, Sanders too is banged up in several ways. He’s not expected to miss any time and should be ready to play against the Chicago Bears, but with Brock Osweiler starting in place of Manning, Sanders’ fantasy value may be slightly lowered this week.
Fantasy owners don’t have to worry about him starting. Being limited in practice is likely just a sign that Sanders needs some rest. He should still be in fantasy lineups on Sunday but owners would feel better off tempering expectations in terms of what the slot receiver produces this week.
