DeSean Jackson practicing Monday, on track to return Week 9 for Washington, fantasy owners
Washington will need all hands on deck if it hopes to upset the New England Patriots on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

The bye week appears to have done Jackson some good, as appearing at an informal session bodes well for his availability on Sunday. Jackson has missed all but one game this season due to a hamstring injury sustained on his lone target of the season. Jackson had appeared set to return in Week 6's game with the New York Jets, but suffered a setback in practice and remained sidelined, although there is now reason for optimism for a Week 9 return against the New England Patriots.
Fantasy impact: Fantasy owners are still waiting for Jackson to make any impact this season, and barring any setbacks, he will be in line to do so against a Patriots team that outmatches Washington in every way on paper. If Washington falls behind early and has to abandon the run, Jackson could be a target monster for Kirk Cousins. Fantasy owners are well aware that Jackson is a threat to score each time the ball is in his hands, and the game script could favor that outcome on Sunday.
If Jackson returns to the field, he will be a high-ceiling WR2, but the value of Pierre Garcon and Jamison Crowder will take a slight hit.
