San Francisco 49ers running back Mike Davis has a fractured hand, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Mike Davis has fractured hand, can be crossed off fantasy waiver bids list
The 49ers’ woes on offense continue with Mike Davis’ fractured hand. We break down the fantasy implications.

It's the third significant injury to occur in the 49ers already thin backfield, as Reggie Bush tore his ACL after slipping on the concrete landing in the Edward Jones Dome and Carlos Hyde continues to deal with a stress fracture in his foot. The 49ers are down to Kendall Gaskins at running back after waiving Jarryd Hayne in the week preceding their Week 8 loss. It is unknown how long Davis will be out, but he can't be counted on in the near future.
Fantasy impact: Perhaps Hayne will be re-signed, but it would be unlikely that he can help the 49ers running game despite being a world-class athlete. For now, Gaskins is the only option in the backfield, although Ben Tate did work out for the team on Monday.
Even with such a clear path to touches, Gaskins would only be a desperate flex play for fantasy owners, since the 49ers offense finished Week 8 dead last in yards per game and points per game.
