Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson practiced again on Friday, according to Tim Twentyman of DetroitLions.com.
Calvin Johnson practices Friday, can be put in fantasy lineups once again
Despite a lingering ankle injury, Calvin Johnson is expected to suit up once again on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.
Johnson missed Wednesday's practice session due to an ankle injury that he suffered weeks ago, but his absence could be attributed more to maintenance than any other reason. The veteran wideout practiced on Thursday and got in his second session of the week on Friday in preparation for the Oakland Raiders.
Fantasy impact: Johnson has dealt with this injury and produced despite it against the Green Bay Packers and Kansas City Chiefs, and with another week under his belt for recovery, there should be no hesitation to get him into fantasy lineups once again. Against a leaky Oakland Raiders secondary that has allowed 1,757 yards to opposing receivers, Johnson will have a decent matchup in a game which could turn into a shootout.
Johnson is a no-doubt WR1 once again for Week 11, as massive upside will always present itself when referring to a player of Johnson’s caliber.
