Chicago Bears running back Matt Forte "appears on track" to make his return on Thanksgiving night, according to ESPN's Jeff Dickerson.
Matt Forte ‘on track’ to return Thursday night, per report, fantasy value on the rise
The Bears are likely to get their veteran running back into the huddle once again in Week 12. We break down the fantasy implications.

Forte has missed the last three games due to a sprained PCL, but went through an extensive warmup session prior to Sunday's loss to the Denver Broncos. Dickerson reported that barring an unexpected setback, the Bears will deploy their veteran running back amid an important divisional game with the Green Bay Packers.
Fantasy impact: Forte's emergence marks the end of what had been a dominant three-week stint from backup Jeremy Langford, even after being stonewalled by the Broncos' elite defense on Sunday. Langford totaled 366 yards and four touchdowns in three games when Forte was absent, which indicates that Langford will at least have a complimentary role upon Forte's return.
With Forte potentially in his last season in a Bears uniform, Langford is a candidate to be the team’s lead back in 2016 and has keeper value written all over him. But for the remainder of the current season, he’s likely nothing more than a flex option if Forte’s health is where it needs to be. Forte re-enters the RB2 conversation once he returns to the field.
