Philadelphia Eagles running back Ryan Mathews was not seen on the practice field during Monday's session, according to Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer.
Ryan Mathews sits Monday’s practice, fantasy status unclear for Week 12
The Eagles may have to be shorthanded at running back for the second straight week with Ryan Mathews continuing to recover from a concussion. We break down the fantasy implications.

With the Eagles having to play on a short week, the chances for Mathews to take the field after suffering a Week 10 concussion grow slimmer with every absence from practice. Kenjon Barner took Mathews' place in the backfield and received seven carries during Week 11's blowout 45-17 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and would be in line to have a role once again in the event of Mathews' absence.
Fantasy impact: DeMarco Murray was expected to have a massive uptick in touches with Mathews being out, but had “just” 17 on the afternoon. An unfavorable game script is the biggest culprit of Murray’s limited chances, as the Eagles were forced to chase the Buccaneers for the majority of the game.
Murray remains in the low-end RB1 conversation for Thanksgiving evening even in the event that Mathews sits out. If Mathews beats the odds and returns to the huddle, he will be a low-end flex play for Week 12.
