Indianapolis Colts running back Frank Gore is not practicing on Wednesday, according to Mike Chappell of Fox 59.
Frank Gore not practicing Wednesday, fantasy owners need backup options prepared
The veteran running back rested on Wednesday after suffering a knee injury during Week 11’s victory. We break down the fantasy implications.

Gore was seen with a limp on the sideline toward the end of Week 11's victory over the Atlanta Falcons after suffering a knee injury. It isn't clear what his status is for Sunday's bout with the Buccaneers, but even in the event that he is slated to suit up, it wouldn't be odd to see the Colts give their 32-year-old running back a day of rest so early in the week.
Fantasy impact: For now, Gore’s owners will have to play the waiting game and keep checking practice reports throughout the week to see if he will play on Sunday. There isn’t yet any reason for concern, but that could quickly change if he is not on the practice field by Thursday.
If Gore suits up and plays at his usual capacity, he is a steady RB2 option. His fantasy owners can add Ahmad Bradshaw to be on the safe side, but he wouldn't warrant anything besides consideration as a desperate flex option.
