Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson is active for Thursday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Calvin Johnson active for Thanksgiving game, can be started in fantasy leagues as usual
The Lions will have Calvin Johnson suiting up for them once again. We break down the fantasy implications.

Johnson has been dealing with an ankle injury for several weeks, but it has not progressed to the point where the team has had to keep him out of action. The Lions have limited Johnson's reps in practice as a result of it, but it has never forced him to be limited during games. He will once again man his usual post in the offense and be the primary target for Matthew Stafford.
Fantasy impact: Lost in what has been a disastrous season for the Lions is that Johnson is steadily producing for his fantasy owners. Though it has been a while since he has broken fantasy scoreboards with monster outputs, Johnson has five straight games of at least 80 yards. He has the benefit of getting to face an unraveling Eagles secondary that just allowed five touchdown passes to Jameis Winston and the Buccaneers, and Johnson is more than capable of capitalizing on him opponents' shortcomings.
Johnson remains a fringe WR1/WR2 for Week 12 and boasts one of the higher floors among those at his position.
