Chicago Bears running back Matt Forte is active for Thursday night's game against the Green Bay Packers.
Matt Forte active on Thanksgiving night for Bears, fantasy owners
The Bears’ starting running back will re-enter the huddle on Thursday night. We break down the fantasy implications.

Forte missed the previous three games due to a sprained MCL, but his string of absences will come to an end in Week 12. The Bears' veteran running back went through a rigorous warm-up session prior to Sunday's game against the Denver Broncos and returned to practice at a limited capacity in preparation for an important divisional game. Forte projects to start while Jeremy Langford will be in a complementary role.
Fantasy impact: It's difficult to trust an older running back after he endured a knee injury, but Forte always presents upside every time he takes the field. With Eddie Royal and Martellus Bennett sidelined, the Bears may have to call on Forte to catch passes more than they would have preferred to under normal circumstances.
Forte re-enters the RB1 conversation, while Langford would be best relegated to benches despite monster performances in Forte’s absence.
