Buffalo Bills wide receiver Sammy Watkins practiced at a limited capacity on Wednesday, according to Sal Capaccio of WGR 550.
Sammy Watkins practices Wednesday, on track to return Week 9 for Bills, fantasy owners
The Bills continue to get healthier and could see Sammy Watkins return to their lineup on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

The bye week appears to have served the Bills quite well, getting Watkins, Karlos Williams and Tyrod Taylor back onto the practice field. Watkins has played in just four games in 2015, and exited his most recent outing in Week 6 early after securing a touchdown catch. For now, it appears Watkins is back on track to suit up on Sunday against the Miami Dolphins and will reclaim his starting spot in the offense from Robert Woods.
Fantasy impact: As long as Watkins assumes his usual workload, fantasy owners shouldn’t have much hesitation starting him amid a week that houses six teams on bye and in wake of an injury-laden Week 8.
Against a Miami Dolphins’ defense that has allowed 15 touchdowns through the air in 2015, Watkins makes for a fine WR3 play with Taylor under center, and has the talent to present considerable upside. With limited options for Sunday, fantasy owners could do far worse than putting Watkins back into their lineups.
