Miami Dolphins running back Lamar Miller returned to practice on Wednesday, according to Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald.
Lamar Miller practices Wednesday, is a locked-in fantasy RB1 for Sunday
The Dolphins’ starting running back returned to practice Wednesday after a Monday absence. We break down the fantasy implications.

Miller did not participate in Monday's informal session, but it appears it was just a day of rest for the Dolphins' feature running back. Since head coach Dan Campbell has taken over, Miller has 52 touches over three games, so a rest would be warranted early in the week after taking on such an increased workload.
Fantasy impact: Fantasy owners were surely disappointed by Miller’s disappearance in Week 8 after back-to-back 100-yard efforts, but it’s just one of the valleys amid peaks that comes with any NFL season. If it’s any consolation, injury won’t need to be a concern for Week 9, and Miller should be in line for a full week of practice.
Sunday's matchup against a Bills' defense that has allowed just 3.8 yards per carry and only four rushing touchdowns doesn't present a great matchup. However, the volume should still be there for Miller to be in the top-10 conversation among fantasy running backs for Week 9.
