Seferian-Jenkins practiced at a limited basis in preparation for Week 8, but was ultimately listed as doubtful and missed his team's contest versus the Atlanta Falcons. It remains to be seen what his status will be on Sunday after being absent since Week 2, but for now, the Buccaneers appear to be on track to getting a much-needed pass catcher back into their lineup.
Fantasy spin: Fantasy owners could use the same boost to their lineups amid a week that just witnessed star after star get injured, as well as the fact that Week 9 houses six teams on byes. Seferian-Jenkins should immediately step into the offense as a No. 2 target behind Mike Evans, and with Jameis Winston's improvements in recent weeks, the floor could be high for the Buccaneers' tight end.
Seferian-Jenkins can be considered a low-end TE1 for Week 9, but it shouldn’t be to any fantasy owner’s surprise if he exceeds those expectations.
