New York Giants wide receiver Rueben Randle is expected to return to practice on Thursday, according to Paul Schwartz of the New York Post.
Rueben Randle expected to practice Thursday, fantasy value remains low
The Giants’ No. 2 wideout continues to battle a hamstring injury. We break down the fantasy implications.

Randle sat out Wednesday's session due to an ongoing hamstring injury, but it hasn't kept him out of game action since its inception in Week 5's victory over the San Francisco 49ers. Randle's impending return to practice indicates that this will remain the case, and barring any setback, he should be ready for Week 9's bout with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Fantasy impact: It's difficult to trust Randle as anything more than a touchdown-dependent WR4 in standard formatted leagues, especially after his quiet outing in Week 8. Eli Manning tossed six touchdown passes and 350 yards, and Randle accounted for 55 yards and no touchdowns. His injury may have played a part in his limitations on the stat sheet, but until he shows he can produce with it, fantasy owners are better suited to look for other receiver options.
Randle remains a desperate flex play for Week 9 against an exploitable Buccaneers secondary, as other high-ceiling options are likely to be found elsewhere.
